My friends and I took a trip down to Gyeongju-which is known for its historical remains- to look at the cherry blossom trees. On our first, day it rained but we still managed to visit the Bulguksa. When we were finished our adventure we went to the temple we found on Air BnB and got ready for the night.
Let me just tell you that sleeping on the floor of the temple was the most comfortable and best night sleep I’ve ever gotten. Sleeping there was probably one of my top experiences in Korea. There was enough room for six of us to find a spot on the floor and pass out.
The next day we went into town and rented some bikes and rode them all over Gyeongju. Riding our bikes down the streets felt like we were in a movie. There were cherry blossoms everywhere and the weather was perfect and it was sunny and bright and everything was just soooooooooo….ssssooooo…dream-like and magical and all the locals were sooooo nice and kept greeting us.
